The Digital Professional Integration Portfolio: An Example of Applied Research at IUT2 Grenoble"[Le Portfolio Électronique D'Insertion Professionnelle : Exemple De Recherche Appliquée A L'Iut2 Grenoble]

One of the university's primary missions being professional integration, various initiatives have multiplied to complement academic programs with additional information related to the competencies associated with them. Several tools have been developed to complement program descriptions: the Répertoire national des certifications professionnelles (RNCP) sheets, which provide information on the skills, abilities and knowledge associated with programs; the Diploma Supplement (2005), which specifies the academic curriculum and the skills acquired during the course of study in connection with the construction of the European Higher Education Area through the European Qualifications Framework and the Europass system; student competency frameworks such as the transversal skills framework used by the Université Européenne de Bretagne; pedagogical programs directly translated into professional competencies such as those of the IUT since 2013 (PPN) Despite the efforts of teachers, the reception of these tools by students, who are sometimes far from having the maturity required to appropriate them, especially at the beginning of their university studies, is not necessarily favorable. Moreover, these tools focus on specific contexts and are not necessarily meaningful either for the educator, the student, or the recruiter. If we want, beyond research and education, for the "strong" university to shine as a social springboard through its mission of professional integration, it is essential that the student adopts a competency-based approach from their very first steps in our institutions and throughout their academic and then professional career. The objective of this paper, in the form of feedback on the approach and experience of the pilot ePortfolio project of IUT2 Grenoble, will attempt to provide some answers to the following issue: "enabling students to reveal their competencies through an ePortfolio approach that is facilitated and integrated into pedagogy." It will also reflect the students' perspective regarding their perception of this tool.
