Abstract

Explorer les futurs possibles pour les entreprises doit désormais s'inscrire dans la finitude physique du monde. En effet, le franchissement des limites planétaires bouleverse les activités des entreprises et rend les approches stratégiques traditionnelles largement inopérantes. Aussi, la prospective par scénarios, outil précieux pour penser l'incertitude et le long terme, doit elle-même intégrer ces dimensions pour se hisser à la hauteur des défis stratégiques contemporains. Dans cette perspective, le dispositif de recherche-action IF Initiative porté par le cabinet Carbone 4 aux côtés d'entreprises et d'équipes de recherche partenaires vise à construire un référentiel stratégique et prospectif adapté à ces enjeux physiques et systémiques. À quels principes directeurs une telle approche prospective tente-t-elle de répondre et que produit-elle pour les organisations qui y participent et s'en saisissent ?
