Abstract

Pour étudier l'impact de l'individualisme des pairs et des systèmes de contrôle de gestion éthiques sur le climat organisationnel via les comportements contreproductifs des managers, une expérience en laboratoire sur 140 étudiants mobilise des analyses de variance et un modèle d'équations structurelles. Les résultats précisent les rares études sur ces liens. Contrairement à une étude corrélationnelle récente et conformément à la théorie de l'apprentissage social, l'individualisme des pairs est associé positivement aux comportements contreproductifs des managers, eux-mêmes corrélés à un climat individualiste dans leur département. De plus, les systèmes de contrôle de gestion éthiques ne sont pas toujours associés significativement à des comportements contreproductifs. Nous contribuons donc aux rares recherches consacrées à ces liens avec une étude expérimentale présentant une meilleure validité interne et appelant à des réplications de cette expérience et des études corrélationnelles.
