Adaptation des business models par l’interaction : une étude des plateformes de crowdfunding immobilier

Abstract

L'environnement turbulent dans lequel évolue le marché de CFI contraint les plateformes à adapter leur business model afin d'assurer leur pérennité. La littérature sur la dynamique des business models propose peu d'analyse quant à la spécificité des plateformes, encore moins sur l'interaction avec l'écosystème, essentielle pour leurs business models. Ce papier, en mobilisant le cadre RCOV, se propose d'analyser cette transformation au prisme des interactions. À travers une étude de cas multiples de 41 entretiens, auprès des dirigeants de quatre plateformes et d'autres parties prenantes du CFI français, et une netnographie par immersion, nous avons montré que les plateformes adoptent une stratégie d'adaptation de business model offensive ou modérée. Les offensives diversifient leurs offres et augmentent les frais pour les parties prenantes clés, en privilégiant le BtoB. Les modérées mutualisent les ressources de leur groupe actionnarial, augmentent la transparence sans changer de structure tarifaire. L'intégration de l'écosystème dans l'adaptation des business models montre l'implication de celui-ci, et aussi la transition des plateformes vers un modèle multiface autour des interactions multilatérales.
