Abstract

This paper introduces a novel concept of Cyber-Physical Agentic Social Network (CPASN), integrating cyber-physical systems with Agentic AI-empowered social networks to model social activities and interactions in hybrid online-offline environments. Focusing on a real-world online social platform that organizes physical events, we formulate a multi-agent ecosys-tem comprising Event Creator agents (organizers), Event Participant agents (consumers), and an orchestrating platform. We propose an Agentic AI sys-tem as a new paradigm for the ecosystems to enhance user participation and overall social effectiveness. Furthermore, this study highlights grounded physical social data, such as attendance, participation behaviour, and tem-poral patterns, as key to capturing users' latent preferences beyond their online expressions, thereby mitigating the Information Cocoon effect prev-alent in digital spaces. The paper presents early conceptual results and key research hypotheses, setting the foundation for future mathematical model-ling and empirical validation using real-world platform data.
