Abstract

Les organisations hybrides combinent des logiques institutionnelles hétérogènes, souvent sources de tensions et de difficultés de légitimation. Si la littérature s'est principalement intéressée à la gestion des tensions dans ces organisations, les dynamiques par lesquelles elles construisent et maintiennent leur légitimité externe demeurent peu analysées et de manière fragmentée. Ce travail propose une grille de lecture intégrative reliant les dimensions internes et externe de l'hybridité organisationnelle aux différents types de légitimité. En mobilisant les travaux de Battilana et Lee (2014) et de Suchman (1995), nous analysons comment ces dimensions peuvent être mobilisées comme leviers de légitimation pragmatique, morale et cognitive. Nous montrons ainsi de quelle manière ces leviers opèrent puis examinons les réponses possibles par type de légitimité.
