Abstract

2020. Time has speeded up and my environment has changed. We don't know what's going to happen tomorrow, but we have to keep letting go so that we can anticipate. Friday 13 March 2020: ‘Until further notice, school is closed. Take your computers and go home - teleworking, where possible, is widespread! Now that the order has been given, deep uncertainty ensues. What's going to happen? Am I contaminated, or have I been? Who in my immediate environment has been, is being or will be affected? Will I be able to support them with dignity if a member of my family or a colleague dies? Will I lose my job? Do I still have to go? Will I have to retrain? Do I have the means to do so? Everything I had planned is falling apart. I can't go out any more, meeting places are closed, public space is no longer allowed and I'm stuck between four walls.
