Abstract

**La Ferdi travaille en collaboration avec UN-DESA à la construction de séries rétrospectives de l'indice HAI. Les derniers travaux statistiques couvrent la période 1990 à 2016 pour 145 pays en développement.** L'indice HAI (Human Assets Index) est un indice composite d'éducation et de santé utilisé pour l'identification des PMA par le Comité des politiques de développement des Nations unies (UN-CDP), mais dont la disponibilité temporelle était jusqu'alors très limitée.\ \ La Ferdi travaille en collaboration avec le Département des affaires économiques et sociales des Nations unies (UN-DESA) à la construction de séries rétrospectives de l'indice HAI qui permettent de suivre de façon synthétique les progrès accomplis, et qui sont utilisables pour les travaux de recherches en la matière. En 2011, les travaux statistiques de Catherine Korachais, permettait d'obtenir l'indice HAI en données annuelles pour la période 1970 à 2008. Une première mise à jour a été effectuée en 2014 (Mathilde Closset, Sosso Feindouno et Michaël Goujon). Grâce aux travaux récents de Sosso Feindouno et Michaël Goujon, l'indice HAI est maintenant disponible en données annuelles pour la période 1990 à 2016 pour 145 pays en développement.
