Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the mobility towards stable employment of temporary civil servants two and a half years later. Using employment surveys stacked from 2004 to 2020, we show that more than half of temporary civil servants manage to stabilize in the civil service and in the private sector two and a half years later. We then show that the methods of access and stabilization in each sector imply differences in terms of employee profiles, both between the public and private sectors and within the public sector itself.
