Abstract

La pénurie de semi-conducteurs que le monde connaît depuis maintenant près de deux ans affecte fortement les secteurs utilisateurs qui rencontrent des difficultés à se procurer des composants électroniques à bon prix. Bien sûr, les tensions entre l'offre et la demande ne sont pas nouvelles dans le secteur et font même l'objet d'une attention particulière depuis plusieurs années maintenant. Comme nous l'avions montré dans un travail de recherche en 2012, les ventes de semi-conducteurs se caractérisent en effet par une cyclicité importante. Le secteur nécessite beaucoup de recherche et développement (R&D) et des investissements lourds pour la production. L'offre s'adapte donc difficilement à une demande toujours plus exigeante et changeante.
