Abstract

Le droit de la propriété intellectuelle constitue un levier stratégique encore insuffisamment exploité pour le développement économique de la République Démocratique du Congo. En protégeant les créations intellectuelles — inventions, œuvres de l'esprit, marques et indications géographiques — ce droit favorise l'innovation, la valorisation des savoirs locaux et l'attractivité des investissements. L'article met en évidence le potentiel économique de la propriété intellectuelle dans des secteurs clés tels que la culture, l'agriculture, l'industrie et les ressources naturelles, tout en soulignant les faiblesses structurelles du cadre juridique et institutionnel congolais. Il plaide ainsi pour un renforcement de la mise en œuvre des normes nationales et internationales, une meilleure sensibilisation des acteurs économiques et une intégration effective de la propriété intellectuelle dans les politiques publiques de développement durable en RDC.
