Abstract

Grounded in motivation theory, this study examines the relationship between flexible work arrangements and employee performance, emphasizing the mediating role of job satisfaction. Data collected from 234 employees was analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings reveal that job satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between flexible work arrangements and performance. From a managerial perspective, the study recommends designing flexibility mechanisms that are tailored to employees' constraints to foster greater satisfaction. The cross-sectional design of this research represents a limitation, suggesting avenues for future longitudinal and comparative studies in other contexts.
