Abstract

Demokratische Fonds bieten ein neuartiges Instrument zur Integration nicht-pekuniärer Erträge – wie ökologische Nachhaltigkeit, soziale Kohäsion oder kulturelle Teilhabe – in Investitionsentscheidungen. Sie reagieren auf strukturelles Marktversagen und eröffnen Wege zur Demokratisierung von Kapitalallokation. Durch ein tokenbasiertes System erhalten Bürger*innen gleichberechtigte Mitbestimmungsrechte über öffentliche Investitionen. Der Beitrag entwickelt ein institutionelles Design, das Elemente von Sovereign Wealth Funds, Crowdfunding und Liquid Democracy verbindet. Demokratische Fonds ermöglichen so eine wertebasierte, partizipative Steuerung wirtschaftlicher Ressourcen und fördern gesellschaftliche Teilhabe, makroökonomische Stabilität und die sozial-ökologische Transformation.
