Abstract

Epstein est déclaré mort dans sa cellule de la prison fédérale de Manhattan au petit matin du 10 août 2019. Jeffrey Epstein avait été incarcéré pour trafic et conspiration de trafic sexuel, faisant suite à une longue liste d'incriminations aux États-Unis dès 2008 pour délinquance sexuelle notamment sur mineures. Il risquait la prison à perpétuité. Cette histoire réunit les ingrédients d'un scénario où se mêlent pouvoir, argent, drogue, corruption, recruteur international de fillettes et victimes mineures sans oublier un cadavre. En bref, tous les éléments nécessaires à un roman policier sont réunis. Et, pour les chercheurs, cette sordide affaire révèle un excellent cas d'étude pour couvrir une théorie du complot.
