Abstract

In an economic context characterized by uncertainty, complexity, and rapid technological change, digital transformation has emerged as a key strategic lever for organizations. Far from being limited to the adoption of digital tools, it profoundly reshapes organizational models, decision-making processes, and value creation. This paper examines the interaction between digital transformation and strategic management, highlighting both opportunities and challenges. Through a case study of OCP Group, a strategic Moroccan industrial actor, we analyze how the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, data utilization, and process modernization can enhance competitiveness and innovation. Finally, the paper provides managerial recommendations to successfully implement digitalization, focusing on transformational leadership, strategic agility, data-driven governance, and sustainability. The findings indicate that digital transformation should be considered a continuous strategic process, requiring a balance between technology, management, and organizational culture. Keywords: Digital transformation, Strategic management, Digital disruption, Industry 4.0, OCP Group.
