Abstract

Quatrième de couverture Entre frustration, rire, peur et coopération, les jeux vidéo constituent un laboratoire des émotions humaines. Ils offrent aussi aux économistes un terrain d'analyse des comportements individuels et collectifs particulièrement fécond. Dans cet univers virtuel, où se déploie toute la diversité des émotions, s'imbriquent, dans une lecture économique institutionnelle, règles, normes sociales, croyances et choix. Plusieurs questions émergent alors : quelle est la nature des émotions ressenties par les joueurs ? Sont-ils en empathie avec leur avatar ? Des émotions comme la peur ou la tristesse peuvent-elles susciter une réflexion morale ? Comment le partage émotionnel fédère-t-il les joueurs dans un jeu coopératif ?
