Abstract

L'intervention des États de Languedoc apparaît comme un levier central dans la construction d'un territoire industriel au XVIIIᵉ siècle. À partir de la cartographie, des infrastructures de transport, des équipements portuaires et de la gestion des ressources matérielles du territoire (eau, bois, ressources pastorales), la communication met en lumière l'existence d'une politique publique provinciale visant à rendre les milieux compatibles avec l'intensification productive et à soutenir durablement l'industrie lainière.
