Le paradoxe de la transition numérique et écologique

Abstract

Les organisations culturelles sont face à un paradoxe : d'une part, les technologies numériques ouvrent de nouvelles formes et techniques de création et apportent leur contribution au développement des droits culturels ainsi qu'à la transition écologique, d'autre part, elles contribuent au changement climatique du fait de leur empreinte énergétique. Les organisations culturelles sont alors confrontées aux logiques paradoxales qu'induisent aujourd'hui les deux injonctions majeures pour nos sociétés : la transition numérique et la transition écologique. Nous proposons de mobiliser l'approche par les paradoxes afin d'identifier les tensions organisationnelles qu'induisent ces deux transitions, à la fois au niveau stratégique et opérationnel d'une organisation, mais également de son système de valeurs. Dans le but d'examiner ces tensions, nous adoptons une démarche qualitative reposant sur l'étude de cas d'une association du secteur des arts numériques.
