Abstract

En 2006, Adeline Lescanne a obtenu le prix national de la femme d'affaires de l'année. Après un master en sociologie appliquée au développement durable, elle part travailler un an au Malawi. Dès son retour, elle rejoint l'entreprise familiale Nutriset (Entreprise normande de plus de 200 personnes qui fabrique et commercialise des produits destinés à la prévention et au traitement des différentes formes de malnutrition). Elle crée en parallèle un réseau de franchises établies dans une douzaine de pays. Aujourd'hui, les produits de Nutriset sont présents auprès des spécialistes internationaux des aides humanitaires.Adeline Lescanne a développé, depuis son plus jeune âge, des liens forts avec l'Afrique. L'aventure commença pour elle en 1991, à l'âge de 13 ans, quand ses parents l'emmenèrent en vacances au Sénégal. Elle ne garda de ce séjour que de vagues souvenirs, notamment la journée passée dans un dispensaire pour se soigner, mais aussi l'envie de ne pas en repartir. Elle renouvela l'expérience quelques années plus tard au Burkina-Faso. Et ce sont toujours ses parents qui encouragèrent la jeune lycéenne de 16 ans à repartir en Afrique :Là je suis partie toute seule au Burkina-Faso afin de travailler dans une boulangerie pendant 15 jours. J'avais 16 ans et j'étais en contact avec pas mal d'étudiants, pas mal de monde. Et c'est là où je me suis dit que je voulais travailler dans le développement.
