Pourquoi les Noirs sont-ils moins payés que les Blancs ?

Abstract

À moins que la France ne représente une exception dans le monde, il est probable que des écarts de rémunération existent aussi chez nous entre salariés suivant leur couleur de peau. Toutefois, la législation en vigueur n'autorise pas la mise en place d'études précises pour le vérifier, contrairement à ce qui est possible dans d'autres pays. On observe par exemple aux États-Unis des différences de rémunération entre les Blancs et les Noirs. Une des explications tiendrait à la négociation du premier salaire par les demandeurs d'emploi.
