Abstract

Ce qu'on appelle désormais les « fake news » ne fleurissent pas uniquement sur les réseaux sociaux et ne concerne pas uniquement quelques adolescents crédules en proie aux théories du complot. Le monde de l'entreprise est lui aussi plein de bruits de couloir qui bruissent, allant de la supposée liaison adultérine entre deux salariés à la rumeur d'un plan de licenciement secret à venir. Les fausses informations peuvent faire des dégâts importants dans l'entreprise, à titre individuel et collectif, si bien que les DRH ne peuvent pas les prendre de haut et se doivent de les démentir fermement. Mais se débarrasse-t-on facilement d'une fausse rumeur ? Suffit-il de rétablir la vérité avec des chiffres et des faits à l'appui pour l'effacer ?
