L’organisation de la prévision économique au ministère des Finances (1948-1968)

Abstract

Cet article étudie les conditions de création, de développement et d'insertion du service des études économiques et financières au sein du complexe politico-administratif à partir de 1948, puis au sein de la direction de la prévision à partir de 1965. L'auteur montre que ce questionnement est riche d'enseignement sur la capacité d'innovation et de réforme de l'État ; elle apporte par ailleurs un éclairage nouveau sur le rôle et l'influence des « technocrates » et de leur expertise économique au cours des trente glorieuses.
