Abstract

The thought of Taylor remains surprise underestimated and its words often made the object of deep criticisms (Coriat, 1979) on behalf of several researchers in management who limit the taylorism in the simple horizontal and vertical division of the work. A reductionnist vision of the work which dehumanizes it. Several elements lead to refuse this ease rhetoric and to defend certain Taylor's ideas which are not without any relationship with the economic and social reality of the company (Marco, 1997, 2000; Vatin, 1987). It is what we are going to try to demonstrate in this paper by the link of management of competencies and Taylor's principles of the scientific management by basing us on a narrative review of the literature (NRL).
