Abstract

En mobilisant des arguments issus des théories de l'agence et de la dépendance aux ressources, cet article étudie l'impact de la syndication sur la rentabilité post-investissement des entreprises françaises financées par equity crowdfunding (ECF) au cours de la période 2011-2022. En s'appuyant sur deux approches économétriques adaptées à la nature longitudinale de leurs données, les résultats révèlent l'existence d'une association négative entre ces deux variables. Si la syndication procure des ressources financières et cognitives à l'entreprise, elle peut conduire à des divergences d'intérêt et à des problèmes de coordination pouvant altérer la réussite du projet et sa performance financière.
