Les questionnements éthiques relatifs à la vie privée et aux systèmes d'information

Abstract

Cet article identifie, à travers une revue de la littérature, les principales questions traitées dans la littérature sur l'éthique des SI concernant la vie privée, au travers de plus de 200 articles de recherche publiés sur la période 1970-2018. Toutes les questions éthiques liées au SI n'ont pas reçu la même attention dans la littérature et la question de la vie privée est la question la plus traitée. Il ressort de cette analyse que les questions éthiques concernant la vie privée et le SI se sont interconnectées au fil du temps avec d'autres dilemmes éthiques, comme la propriété, la sécurité, la surveillance, ce qui rend encore plus complexe la gouvernance de ces questions. Par ailleurs, la notion de vie privée a glissé d'un droit fondamental, vers un "actif" monnayable, à la valeur relative.
