Page de couverture. Entre 2021 et 2024, la France a renoué avec une période inflationniste qu'elle n'avait plus connue depuis les années 1980. Cet ouvrage s'attache donc à étudier les répercussions considérables qu'une inflation forte et brutale comporte sur les différentes facettes de l'action publique. Finalement, l'analyse de l'État face à l'inflation laisse entrevoir un double enjeu : l'action de l'État sur l'inflation et l'action de l'État malgré l'inflation. Les contributions ici réunies reviennent non seulement sur des éléments de contexte relatifs à ce phénomène économique, mais aussi sur les outils utilisés par l'État pour l'endiguer ou pour atténuer ses effets sur l'organisation et le fonctionnement des services publics. Issues d'une journée d'étude organisée le 15 septembre 2023 à l'Université de Bordeaux, les contributions réunies dans cet ouvrage mêlent des approches historiques, économiques et juridiques dans une perspective nationale et européenne, intéressant autant le monde académique que les professionnels du droit.
