Abstract

This research focuses on the territorialization of low-carbon objectives through the case of a coastal territory, the urban community of La Rochelle. Research-creation was used to call into question the actual organisation of the territory and propose an alternative vision. It experiments a method for imagining futures ways of organising, that are compatible with planetary limits and socially fair. In this research, creative writing and theatre are methods of inquiry. The aim is to experiment how artistic performance contributes to create a movement towards alternative futures and helps compose ecological strategies. For this stream, two actions will be conducted : • The showing of the whole documentary film (60 minutes) co-directed by a researcher and a director, telling the story of this research-creation process. The movie is in French and will have English subtitles. • A discussion following the movie, with a comment of the research-creation.
