Abstract

Our article addresses the issue of crises in Europe: from the financial crises of 2008 and the health crisis of 2020 to the current inflationary crisis. Firstly, the origins of the return of inflation in Europe are clarified, particularly in its eastern part, including Slovakia. Next, we specify the role of businesses in the inflationary process. Finally, we analyze the specific aspects of anti-inflation policies in Europe. Our ambition is to show that while crises create or break dependencies, they are becoming increasingly intertwined with one another. Regulatory strategies now face not just a single crisis, but a tangle of crises whose consequences become the origin of the subsequent ones.
