Abstract

Este artigo apresenta os principais avanços produzidos pelos colaboradores de uma obra coletiva que os dois autores destas linhas coordenaram e dedicaram às lutas dos camponeses do mundo pelo acesso à terra e à soberania alimentar. Com base em uma estrutura teórica e histórica comum de análise, as análises os argumentos são feitas organizados por continente ou grande país do Sul Global: América Latina, África, China, Índia, Oceania. A situação na Europa também é examinada. A partir dos ensinamentos derivados dessas análises, é discutido o papel do capital financeiros na manutenção e piora da situação campesina e, ao final, são apresentados eixos de um programa unificador da luta dessses camponeses, ao mesmo tempo que suas articulações com as lutas de outros trabalhadores e com aquelas em defesa da proteção do meio ambiente.
