Abstract

Dans ce chapitre, nous donnons un aperçu de ce que nous savons des inégalités sur le continent africain, tout en soulignant certaines des spécificités et disparités entre les pays. Nous examinons également l'évolution des inégalités en Afrique par rapport à d'autres pays en étudiant la répartition des revenus et des richesses au fil du temps, et nous expliquons les caractéristiques spécifiques des inégalités en Afrique.
