Abstract

Cet ouvrage présente les tendances macroéconomiques de l'Afrique et de ses régions et porte un regard pluridisciplinaire sur des enjeux structurels majeurs, qu'ils soient continentaux ou spécifiques à un pays. Quelles sont les nouvelles formes de l'urbanisation africaine au XXIe siècle et comment penser l'articulation entre urbanisation et croissance économique ? Comment les États africains peuvent-ils financer leurs infrastructures et leurs services publics dans un contexte d'augmentation rapide de l'endettement ? Que nous apprend l'analyse des données sur les caractéristiques des flux migratoires africains et sur la complexité des liens entre migrations et développement ? Quels bénéfices l'Afrique peut-elle attendre d'une industrialisation tardive au regard de l'exemple éthiopien ? Dans quelle mesure les « communs » constituent-ils, entre autres, une solution aux problèmes fonciers du Mali ?
