Abstract

La transparence salariale devrait bientôt être adoptée en France, à la suite de l'adoption d'une directive européenne, qui sera désormais transposée. Une concertation a lieu sur le sujet. Quels résultats peut-on en attendre ? À quelles conditions peut-elle être efficace ? Les exemples étrangers de telles pratiques livrent leur enseignement. Oui, la transparence salariale peut réduire les écarts de rémunération entre les femmes et les hommes, mais avoir aussi des effets plus inattendus. La transparence des salaires a de nombreux effets sur les comportements des salariés et sur les pratiques des entreprises.
