Abstract

Biotechnology and green chemistry start-ups are increasingly called upon to address contemporary environmental challenges. However, their economic valuation relies on complex processes in which scientific, financial, and ecological indicators intersect. This communication will examine how the value of these start-ups is constructed and negotiated through formal dispositifs and informal dynamics.
