Abstract

Le contexte environnemental actuel tend à donner de plus en plus de crédit au paradigme de la soutenabilité forte. C'est dans cette lignée qu'est développé le concept de circularité forte, défini comme un « découplage effectif entre consommation des ressources et développement économique ». Cette définition, traduisant pour les entreprises un basculement du modèle économique traditionnel vers un modèle d'économie de fonctionnalité (EF), laisse un certain nombre de questions en suspens. Quelle différence entre croissance économique et développement ? La circularité forte n'est-elle possible qu'en s'inscrivant dans un modèle d'EF ? Ce papier s'interroge sur les répercutions en termes de modèles comptables et leur capacité à prendre en compte les différentes dimensions de l'EC
