Shadow Gen AI. Tout le monde utilise l’IA sans le dire

Abstract

92 % des étudiants utilisent régulièrement l'IA. 80 % environ des salariés déclarent utiliser l'IA pour des tâches personnelles et professionnelles selon les études. 90 % des salariés se disent satisfaits des production de l'IA. 57 % utilisent l'IA dans le monde professionnel sans le dire. Avec une variable d'âge, l'IA envahit les fonctionnements tertiaires avec une forme de Shadow Gen AI. L'utilisation de l'IA n'est pas mentionnée pour préserver un gain de temps obtenu, pour préserver une image sociale d'expert et pas peur de voir son poste remis en cause. Cette utilisation à la fois massive et cachée met en avant un comportement que nous nommons de « sidération schizophrénique » qui nous oblige à revoir les modèles classiques de l'adoption technologique pour l'IA. Nous proposons une lecture de l'adoption en mettant l'accent sur la dimension psychologique au travers des théories du renforcement, de la dissonance cognitive et de l'autodétermination. Rapprochés à des études récentes, ces théories proposent une lecture de l'adoption de l'IA de nature comportementale.
