Effets de calendrier et de température sur les séries de consommation de textile et d’articles en cuir en France

Abstract

Le textile et les articles en cuir (chaussures, maroquinerie) sont des produits dont la consommation peut être influencée par deux types de phénomènes spécifiques : les effets de calendrier et plus particulièrement ceux des soldes, et l'impact des variations inhabituelles de température. Ce travail étudie successivement ces deux effets sur la consommation de textile et de cuir en France. L'étude de l'effet du calendrier des soldes sur les séries de volume et de prix de consommation de textile-cuir démontre que c'est surtout le nombre de samedis inclus dans la période de soldes qui influence la consommation. En moyenne, un degré de plus fait augmenter la consommation de textile d'environ 2%au mois d'avril, et la fait diminuer d'environ 3 % au mois de septembre.
