Abstract

The concept of organizational culture is very wide and constantly evolving. We intend to show that the organizational culture plays an essential role for a organization's efficient operation and development, a reality valid both for small institutions and corporate giants. Corporate culture, whatever organization is a "link" in a chain of meanings implied that gives specific meaning to all human activities and organizational processes. At the same time, it is the most important resistance factor in any approach to change, regardless of its scale. Organizational culture is important to an organization, because it influences the entire public of the organization and plays an essential role in efficient operation and in its evolution. A company with a strong culture, will create a positive image, with the effects beneficial. A strong organizational culture is the one in which there is a strong attachment to the organization's values and principles. This paper aims to analyze the effects of the organizational culture in a company's development. We wish to show the role of organizational culture in the evolution of Vodafone Romania Company, in what extent it applicable in Romania and its impact. The change cultural is required for the company's adjustment to the current realities.
