Abstract

La digitalisation du recrutement est souvent présentée comme une solution au chômage. L'asymétrie d'information entre les candidats et les recruteurs serait une cause majeure de l'inefficacité du marché du travail ; la gratuité et l'accessibilité d'Internet permettraient de réduire cette asymétrie en regroupant et en augmentant les informations diffusées. Les recours à des applications pour trier les profils permettraient de réduire les biais et la subjectivité du recruteur. Il ne s'agit plus d'être choisi par un recruteur, mais d'être trouvé par des algorithmes, parfois après que d'autres algorithmes ont lu, interprété et classé le profil déposé sur un site. Les relations entre candidats et recruteurs sont coordonnées par des applications et des plateformes. L'utilisation pertinente des plateformes qui collectent les profils est donc centrale pour comprendre l'accès à l'emploi. Les plus jeunes, supposés les plus efficaces avec la technologie, bénéficieraient en premier lieu de ces nouvelles opportunités. Est-ce vraiment le cas ?
