Abstract

Nowadays, the development of consumers' environmental commitment has become a major societal issue. This study examines the effects of interactivity in a 360° immersive video on environmental commitment. To achieve the research objectives, an initial experiment was conducted with a sample of 60 individuals, divided into two subgroups of 30 participants each. After watching a 360° immersive video raising awareness about ocean pollution, self-reported measures of flow, concern, information, control, and curiosity were collected. At this stage, the analysis of the results has not yet been finalized, and a second phase of data collection will be implemented to expand the sample in each experimental condition.
