Le texte statutaire d’une société à mission : un prisme révélateur de modèles d’engagement des salariés ?

Abstract

La qualité de société à mission a été pensée pour contribuer à une transformation de l'intérieur de l'entreprise. La place des salariés y est peu théorisée et pourtant, les entreprises à mission se sont emparées de la question. Alors que l'on manque encore de recul quant aux effets à long terme de la qualité de société à mission sur la relation entre l'entreprise et ses salariés, notre propos est de prendre le texte de mission au sérieux afin d'explorer ce qu'il révèle de la manière d'inclure les salariés dans la démarche. Il apparaît en particulier que les salariés peuvent être appréhendés comme « objet » d'attention ou « sujet » à embarquer. Cette posture vis-à-vis des salariés tend à s'aligner avec le type de mission (spectre large ou cœur d'activité) ainsi qu'avec le type d'engagement attendu (au travail ou organisationnel). L'article ouvre sur les modes de management (directif, distributif ou participatif) à mobiliser selon les configurations.
