Abstract

En illustrant la « valeur d'usage » du regard de Bataille sur de nombreuses situations vécues par nos contemporains, il est un appel à recourir plus largement à sa pensée dans l'ensemble des sciences humaines et sociales et en particulier en gestion. Après un rappel de Bataille écrivain, familier de la psychanalyse, son oeuvre est positionnée au regard de plusieurs auteurs dont Alexandre Kojève, Jean Baudrillard et Simone Weil. Sa portée critique est, ensuite, déclinée en trois grands thèmes. Le premier est la critique anthropologique et épistémologique que peut nourrir Bataille. Le deuxième porte sur le travail, ses conditions d'effectuation et certaines activités sociales, comme la rencontre sexuelle ou amoureuse. La dernière critique s'adresse aux outils de gestion et à leur emprise sur la vie quotidienne des salariés.
