Abstract

L'une de nos dernières recherches académiques expose la manière dont des top managers d'un grand groupe ont défendu leur statut hiérarchique en luttant pour conserver une place de choix lors de la mise en fonction du nouveau siège social de leur entreprise, au milieu des années 1990. Même si notre étude montre que la question de ce que nous appelons le « privilège spatial » s'inscrit dans un contexte historique spécifique, on ne peut que s'interroger sur ce qu'il en est maintenant, à l'heure du développement du travail hybride, du flex-office, et de l'usage accru des technologies de communication.
