Abstract

Le locavorisme a fait croire à nombre d'acteurs des systèmes alimentaires locaux que les citoyens allaient s'extraire dans un avenir proche d'un système agro-industriel globalisé, à la fois trop dépendant des cours des matières premières sur les marchés mondiaux, vulnérables aux processus spéculatifs et surtout inaptes à proposer des produits de qualité. Mais une crise comme la guerre en Ukraine nous rappelle que la production et la consommation alimentaires dépendent toujours largement de processus qui n'ont rien de local. Que faut-il alors penser des circuits alimentaires de proximité dans ce contexte géopolitique incertain ? Restent-ils viables ? Faut-il toujours les favoriser ou prôner une sécurisation des chaines d'approvisionnement alimentaires globales ?
