Abstract

L'agriculture est à la fois responsable et victime du réchauffement climatique. Responsable car elle émet près de 20 % des gaz à effet de serre, lesquels sont composés de méthane, issus notamment de l'élevage, de protoxyde d'azote, issu des épandages d'engrais et de dioxyde de carbone provenant de la consommation d'énergie fossile à la ferme. Victime car le réchauffement climatique entraîne des épisodes météorologiques fatals à certaines exploitations agricoles : gels tardifs pour les vignobles, sécheresses pour les grandes cultures, inondations altérant les sols, etc.
