Abstract

Cet article synthétise de façon narrative la littérature à propos de la justification dans l'organisation. Afin d'ancrer conceptuellement la justification et d'explorer ses effets majeurs, l'article articule : la sociologie des accounts, la littérature sur l'accountability, le cadre des économies de la grandeur, la littérature sur les biais psychosociaux, et la littérature à propos du management d'impression. L'article propose une typologie des justifications dans l'organisation, suivie d'une articulation des courants synthétisés qui éclaire certains de leurs angles morts communs, et ouvre la voie vers une étude renouvelée de la justification en gestion.
