Abstract

The consequences of climate change already seem to be with us, particularly in the water-stressed zones which mainly feed the winter market. In this context of production growth continuing to fall distinctly below expectations, it was the EC market, more open than its US counterpart, which was responsible for the bulk of growth, while the world's more minor consumption centres remained at a standstill.
