Abstract

Record volumes were forecast on the winter market in 2023-24, after the previous lean season. There is indeed a recovery, but not to the extent predicted. The impact of climate change, perceptible in practically all the supplier countries (heatwaves, frosts, drought, etc.) was very severe in some production centres.
