Abstract

Ce cas illustre le développement d'une innovation technologique qui tente de répondre à la difficulté de l'inadéquation des voitures actuelles à la mobilité au quotidien. En effet, les voitures particulières, même électriques, sont surdimensionnées dans 80 % des situations de déplacement et demeurent très consommatrices d'énergie. Les transports en commun ne sont qu'une partie de la solution de développement des mobilités douces. De ce fait, le besoin d'un véhicule léger, sécurisé, écologique est fortement ressenti. C'est dans ce cadre que le projet Avatar, qui aspire à proposer un véhicule léger, facile d'utilisation, peu consommateur d'énergie et hautement innovant, est né.
