Abstract

Le secteur mondial des agrumes fait preuve d'un beau dynamisme. Tant en production que dans les échanges, les volumes augmentent régulièrement et cela depuis des décennies. L'analyse par segment (frais ou transformés) donne une vision un peu plus contrastée des choses. Excepté la crise conjoncturelle actuelle en Méditerranée (saison 2018-2019 catastrophique), le marché pour les agrumes frais reste très porteur. Ce n'est pas le cas pour le marché international du jus d'orange qui est en profonde crise. La consommation baisse régulièrement sur les marchés traditionnels comme les États-Unis et l'Europe sans que, pour l'instant, la demande asiatique ou latino-américaine prenne le relais.
