L’espace lorrain, espace à l’instar de l’étranger effectif (1664-1698)

Abstract

L'objectif du propos est d'apprécier les évolutions et adaptations du système fisco financier dans des territoires frontaliers. À travers le cas de l'espace lorrain, la construction d'une province à l'instar de l'étranger effectif est concrètement étudiée et nous constatons que ce processus n'a rien de linéaire et s'adapte à des réalités fiscales déjà existantes. En outre, l'étude du fonctionnement de l'administration provinciale pendant la guerre de la Ligue d'Augsbourg met en lumière le décalage entre la théorie du statut d'une province à l'instar de l'étranger effectif et la pratique qui nécessite du pragmatisme et de l'adaptation de la part de l'État monarchique.
